Our Activities
CADG is involved in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of infrastructure projects in Afghanistan. Our group focuses on the implementation of large scale agriculture and engineering programs in southern Afghanistan. CADG has invested heavily in capital equipment in order to become the leading private contractor in southern Afghanistan.
CADG partners in Afghanistan include USAID, UNOPS, DFID, Coalition Forces, The Louis Berger Group, Cummins Power Systems, UNDP, UNHCR, British Foreign Office and Chemonics International.
Job Summary
The Central Asia Development Group is seeking a National Liaison Manager for their USAID funded Community Development Program. The National Liaison Manager, reporting to the Chief of Party, is primarily responsible for relationships with GIRoA and ensuring CADG is compliant with GIRoA regulations and submits all necessary reports. The job will include but not be limited to the following roles and responsibilities:Duties and Resposibilities
a)Preparing all reports for the Ministry of Economy and sector ministries per GIRoA requirements;b)Responsible for Afghan income tax and withholding tax with the Ministry of Finance;
c)Have oversight for expatriate employee visas and work permits;
d)Establish and maintain strategic relationships with GIRoA line ministries, including MoEc, MoF, MAIL, IDLG, MoFA, and MoLSAD;
e)Obtain MoUs for at the central level and facilitate similar at the provincial level when necessary;
f)As required, obtain endorsement letters from line ministries for ongoing projects;
g)Facilitate communication between the COP and GIRoA on compliance, reporting and related issues;
h)Administrative support ,Other tasks as required.
