Evaluation Specialist position with Afghanistan SUPPORT Project (1049 Views)
About Afghanistan SUPPORT Project
SUPPORT directly assists USAID/Afghanistan’s Program and Projects Development Office (PPDO) with information management services and provides the PPDO and USAID/Afghanistan with a number of key services, including information management and reporting products and performance monitoring plans and related activities. SUPPORT is seeking well qualified Afghan candidates for a newly established field monitoring unit which will provide periodic reviews of specific activities on behalf of USAID/Afghanistan.Job Summary
• Work closely with Commercial Horticulture and Agricultural Marketing (CHAMP) evaluation team• Skilled in evaluation standards and practices,
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively under challenging conditions,
• Conduct field visits under challenging conditions, and
• Ability to produce a high quality evaluation report in a timely manner.
• Provide technical translation to CHAMP evaluation team
• Provide logistical support to CHAMP evaluation team
• And do any other related duties relevant to this position

Qualification
• Possess at least a university degree, Master’s preferred• At least 6 years of evaluation experience
• Experience in socio-economic field survey and participatory appraisal (sampling and survey methods – e.g. interpersonal interviews and focus group discussions) required.
• Must be fluent in English.
