About SHEP/MoHE
Strengthening Higher Education Program is supported by the World Bank for the Higher Education Sector in Afghanistan. The developmental objective of the proposed program is to progressively restore basic operational performance at a group of core universities (Balkh, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Herat, Kabul, Kabul polytechnic, Kabul Education, Takhar, Bamyan, Albironi, Khost & Jawzjan Universities) in Afghanistan. This will provide an institutional base for an agenda focusing on tertiary education development, capacity building and reform.Job Summary
Teaching of :Islamic studies
Hadith
Tafseer
Fiqh
Islamic culture and other related subjects.
Duties and Resposibilities
1. Teach at least 16 hours per week as assigned, developing all corresponding lesson plans.
2. Correct and respond to all assignments completed by students in assigned teaching load in a timely manner.
3. be on time for class each day ready to start the lesson on time, and complete the class at the assigned completion time.
4. Compile, maintain, and submit detailed attendance and grade reports at mid and end of term, or as requested by administration.
5. Administer assessments and submit appropriate corresponding paperwork to Sharia College.
6. Participate in professional developmental activities.
7. Assist in matters relating to policy, curriculum, and program development
8. Share materials/curriculum developed with fellow instructors.
9. Supplement curriculum binders with course materials at end of each term.
Qualification
1. Bachelor in the field of Sharia, Master preferred2. At least 2 years teaching experience preferably in Colleges/Universities
3. Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
4. Ability to develop course curriculum and plan daily lessons corresponding course goals and objectives.
5. Ability to integrate technology into instruction in order to maximize students learning.
6. Ability to keep appropriate class records and to conduct administrative tasks associated with instruction.
7. Ability to continually evaluate the quality of education in order to provide all students with an enriched and challenging educational experience
