About State Corps
State Corps is D/B Construction firm working with US Army Corps of Engineers all over Afghanistan, managing and executing multiple ANSF and MILCON projects in multiple locations of Afghanistan.Job Summary
Under direct supervision of the Project Manager, the incumbents will be responsibly running the Site Construction system including planning, communications & other company requirements.Duties and Resposibilities
1.Managing the project directly from execution to closeout phase in accordance to USACE contract and client’s requirements, and the company’s policies;2.Specifying construction project objectives and plans including delineation of scope, communications, setting performance requirements, and recruiting project site team;
3.Maximizing resource efficiency through procurement and effective management of labor, materials, machineries and equipment;
4.Implementing various operations through proper coordination and control of estimating, contracting and construction in the entire process;
5.Developing effective communications and mechanisms for resolving site conflicts
6.Establishing proper documentation procedures;
7.Being on project site all the time during the period of contract;
8.Managing all of the activities of stakeholders related to the project;
9.Developing quarterly, monthly, and weekly activity work plans, and progress reviews reports;
10.Ensuring that project is progressing smoothly and is effectively monitored, and
11.Meeting the US Army Corps of Engineers documentation and reporting requirements.
12. Reporting directly to main office.
Qualification
1. At least Bs degree in civil engineering (Higher degrees and/or degrees in business and management are preferred);2. Minimum 2 years experience in construction management of USACE projects as a project manager;
3. Having US Army work experience certificates candidate will be preferred;
4. Must be familiar Microsoft Office and Ms Project (Primavera is preferred);
5. Must be excellent at English and local languages;
7. Have the ability to work for long hours and under pressure; and
8. Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
