Considering the present situation of Afghanistan and keeping in mind the role of education and the millennium development goals (MDGs) and in the Afghan National Development Strategy (ANDS), education is one of the most important goals of the government Islamic republic of Afghanistan (GIRA) in private and public sector.


In response to the increasingly rising demand for high quality education in Afghanistan, and the development and delivery of capacity building and enhancement courses for different entities, ALFALA Institute of Higher Education is established in 2011 as of private higher education in Afghanistan.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Finance Manager, Finance Officer (FO) will be responsible for the day to day operations of the finance department. FO will be collecting fee from the students, having oversight on daily transactions, maintaining Journal books, prepration of Trial Balance, and generating the required reports from the Acounting System.

Duties and Resposibilities

• Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Maintaining Journal books on regular basis
• Extracting various required reports from the accounting information system
• Maintaining very good filing system
• Adhere to the policy and procedures
• Collecting students fee and dealing politely with all stakeholders
• Make sure purchases have taken place according procurement policies
• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Qualification

BBA-Finance/BS-Economics/CAT Qualified or ACCA partial.
