Job Summary

Midwifery counseling to the patients

Duties and Resposibilities

Give the necessary supervision, care, and advice to women during pregnancy, labor and the post partum period.

Conduct deliveries on her own and care for the newborn infant.

Manage complication in pregnancy and childbirth, in accordance with the principles of basic emergency obstetric care.

Provide primary care to women of reproductive age, in accordance with the BPHS.

Support the provision of primary health care within the community.

Counsel and educate women, the family and community, in relevant areas of health including preparation for parenthood and childbirth.

Provide non-surgical methods of family planning, and counseling for surgical methods.

Other tasks as assigned by head of facility/line manager.

Qualification

Must be graduated from Midwifery school.
She should have at least 2 years experience.
Have good communication skills in Pashto, Dari other local languages
English language and computer literacy will be an asset.
