Training Program Officer is responsible for delivering training and communicate the topic effectively by understanding the audience and targeting the session to their skill and education level.Duties and Resposibilities
-Conduct planning for each targeted district and village of the program wherein agriculture Training projects are ongoing.-Preparing the daily report of the Training for the concerned district and update your direct supervisor accordingly on regular basis.
-To ensure proper coordination of travel and interaction with DAIL, as required.
-Assist line Training Monitor to monitor program activities according to pre-determined objectives and compile data from the field into meaningful reports.
-Identify and inform the Training Monitor and Trainers about daily issues of the pertinent district and field staff.
-Get the necessary data and prepare daily & weekly report of the targeted district.
-Obtain the necessary information about request and potential Agriculture Training projects in assigned and targeted Districts.
-Assist in the implementation of the plan of action, participate review achievements and constraints, and provide feedback accordingly;
-Plan, prepare and deliver courses /training according to the training package/course.
-Provide flexible learning and assessment strategies which will meet the learning needs of a range of students.
-Give current course information to students and make sure core and elective units are identified
-Revise amend and/or update training materials to ensure that the information farmers receive remains relevant, accurate and up to date.
-Make assessment decisions in order to ascertain that required standards have been achieved. Debrief and provide feedback to students and work with them to compile Developmental plans to assist their learning and development
-Undertake assessment of individuals against agreed standards of competence as appropriate within your level of competence.
-Encourage individual learning through clear communication of learning points, the use of appropriate facilitation style and effective use of learning aids during the session.
-Plan and design training and development sessions, which satisfy clearly defined learning needs, and include appropriate learning methods and
-Prepare and deliver presentations
-Prepare and deliver information to diverse audiences ensuring that you use an appropriate communication style, operate equipment correctly and represent the values of the Service.
-Assist in the preparation and updating of training course material/modules as required.
-Assist in the review, modification and preparation of training manuals as required
-Support staff in training matters.
Qualification
-1-2 years of experience is essential.-Minimum 1 year of experience in conducting training.
-Knowledge of USAID projects is desirable. -Understanding of international NGO standards and procedures.
-Working experience with International Organizations and/or NGO.
-General experience of office and administration procedures.
