Job Summary

AWISTA Knowledge Village will be implementing the English Training course to ANSF with the objective to enhance the competency of ANSF personnel in English language. As such, AWISTA Knowledge Village through the ELT Project needs English Instructor to teach American Language Course (ALC) curriculum to the trainees of ANSF personnel in ANA & ANP facilities.

Duties and Resposibilities

The duties and responsibilities of ALC English Instructor are as follows but not limited to:
 Lead the trainees and conduct daily training to ANSF personnel as per training materials provided by client through AWISTA Knowledge Village;
 Report to duty promptly during assigned hours;
 Record student attendance and performance records and forward them to the Regional Supervisor;
 Ensure all instructional media is prepared and posted prior to trainee arrival;
 Start class on time and run classes for the entire time allotted by the schedule;
 Post and verbalize classroom rules to enforce understanding and rules as stipulated in Quality Control Plan (QCP) in order to maintain good order and discipline in the classroom;
 Report all violation against the QCP to Regional Supervisor;
 Maintain and protect AWISTA Knowledge Village equipment and training materials;
 Work with the Regional Supervisor to prepare weekly report and monthly report for submission to ELT Project Manager;
 Perform all administration tasks associated with the assignment.

Qualification

 At least a 12th graduate; BA Degree in English Literature is highly preferred.
 At least 3 years of English teaching experience;
 Must be fluent in Dari and Pashto as well as English;
 Must pass a placement test during interview exam
