About Community Empowerment and Development Organization

Community Empowerment and Development Organization (CEDO) is a non-governmental, non-political and none for profit development organization working with communities to empower people and communities to changes their lives and sustain their development. CEDO is supporting communities in need to address complex problems related to poverty, socio-economic development, humanitarian assistance and strengthening civil society. The organization is registered with the government of Afghanistan, Ministry of Economy (Registration No 1382).
CEDO supports pro-poor growth and primarily target vulnerable rural communities, including farmers, landless laborers, internally displaced people, women and at-risk youth. Job Summary

Cook(prepare meals and tea refreshements for office personel)

Duties and Resposibilities

1) Cook and serve lunch of a variety of dishes for the office staff on daily basis.
2) Keep kitchen and office room clean
3) Prepare a proper list of ingredients for daily food preparing.
4) Over all responsibilities of the kitchen management.
5) Carry out any other tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor

Qualification

1) Ability to cook/make a variety of Afghan dishes.
2) Ability to read and write in local languages •At 3) least two years of work experience as cook in an organization, resturant or guesthouse.
4) Clean, tidy and well-organized;
5) Honest, active and well mannered;
