Job Summary

The project administrative assistant will Assist the administration and programme units in day to day activities associated with smooth operation of the programme.

Duties and Resposibilities

1. Assist the program and project officers in day to day activities associated with smooth implementation of the projects.
2. Be responsible to prepare contracts for registration and facilitate for signature by involved parties.
3. Loyally and diligently support the administration/finance and program units in administrative works and financial management.
4. Develop and maintain a filing system for all paper records including print outs of all emails and maintain records on office computer in a professional manner.
5. Preparing letters, memoranda and directives as directed by the supervisor and is responsible for the weekly staff minutes.

6. Assist in providing in translation, both spoken and written English to Dari, and vice versa.
Any other related activities as deemed relevant by GIZ regulations and the Team Leader.

Qualification

• Bachelor Degree is preferred but high school degree with professional working experience is acceptable.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Project Administration working with Humanitarian/development organizations.
• Fluency in Dari
• Ability to understand, Converse, writes and read in good English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access).
