Our Activities
CADG is involved in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of infrastructure projects in Afghanistan. Our group focuses on the implementation of large scale agriculture and engineering programs in southern Afghanistan. CADG has invested heavily in capital equipment in order to become the leading private contractor in southern Afghanistan.
CADG partners in Afghanistan include USAID, UNOPS, DFID, Coalition Forces, The Louis Berger Group, Cummins Power Systems, UNDP, UNHCR, British Foreign Office and Chemonics International.
Job Summary
The cook will be responsible for the effective management of all CADG Zabal office and guest house kitchen.Duties and Resposibilities
The cook will be responsible to prepare local/International meals for the following tasks:1-Monitor and maintain CADG office and guest house food, soft drink, and water supply.
2-Cook Lunch and dinner for local /international staff and guests in the office, provide enough meal for personnel.
3-Keep clean guest house/office kitchen and dining room.
4-Prepare daily dinner meal.
5-Prepare food in a sanitary environment and on professional manner.
6-Ensure vegetable and fruit are sanitized properly.
7-Work with cleaners to ensure kitchen and dining area are continually cleaned and sanitized.
8-Notify administration Manager or facility supervisor of Kitchen needs or issues wth kitchen equipment.
9-Interact with international from office.
10-Other tasks as assigned from office.
Qualification
High School degree in relevant field required or equivalent experience.Minimum of 4 years’ experience in relevant positions. Experience working in a similar position for an NGO or an international organization is preferred. USAID funded project experience is a clear plus.
In addition, must be flexible, willing to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and work irregular hours.
