Job SummaryKardan University is seeking well experienced scholar having specialization in management to appoint as Professor for its Masters program in Business Administration.
The person should have expertise in subjects like Contemporary Administrative Systems, Managerial Economics, Advanced Research Design, Policy Analysis & Implementation, Training & Development, Disaster Management, Strategic Management, Production and Operations Management, Compensation Management, etc.
The scholar will be responsible to plan, organize, teach and implement appropriate skills in well-disciplined environment that orients and inspires the students towards learning.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe main tasks and responsibilities include:
1. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to range of academic audiences;
2. Quickly build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders in different academic sectors;
3. Identify and pursue new research ideas and opportunities emerging in the academic areas;
4. Perform certain academic and student oriented activities including but not limited to student support and counseling;
5. Participate at University’s departmental, general meetings, workshops and seminars;
6. Deliver work effectively and efficiently (taking costs, timescales, quality and reputation into account);
7. Work independently, show initiative and transfer learning from one setting into others;
Qualificationo Ph.D/ MS in relevant field from any recognized and established University;
o Proven track record of at least 10 years teaching experience in a reputable University;
o Any industrial experience would be deemed as additional qualification;
o At least 5 research publications would be at his/her credit;
o Experience in designing, developing and analyzing curriculum and programs;
