About INL/CSSP

PAE is responsible for the INL/Corrections System Support Program (INL/CSSP) that is funded by the US Department of State and is a non-for-profit organization. INL/CSSP is helping Afghanistan improve its Corrections system by providing technical assistance, advice and training to Afghanistan Corrections system professionals.

Job Summary

Helps develop training materials for the CPD budget and financial departments. Facilitates familiarization with CPD budget and financial department operations and develops training schedules for those departments. Advises on strategies, policies, and plans affecting the CPD budget and financial departments. Responsible for providing advice and instruction relating to budget and financial department operations. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and provide structured recommendations to improve future processes and results.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to conduct briefings and produce clear, logical, and concise products.
• Skilled with multiple programs of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Facilitates cooperation and support to accomplish group goals. Makes well-informed, effective, and timely decisions. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems; uses sound reasoning to arrive at conclusions; find alternative solutions to complex problems; distinguish between relevant and irrelevant information to make logical judgments. Ability to provide sound advice, guidance, and consultation based on results of the analysis. Holds self-accountable for measurable high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results. Complies with established control systems and rules.

Qualifications

Relevant working experience in specific project advisory role and experience with a national and or international organization.
• Bachelor’s degree from University in applicable field
• Fluency in English, Dari and or Pashto is required.
• Ability to translate from English into Dari or Pashtu, and vice versa is required.
