Job Summary

Assistant to the CEO is often responsible for scheduling. This may include setting up travel, meetings, speaking engagements and other appointments for the chief executives officer. In addition to making appointments, this may also involve ensuring there are no scheduling conflicts and making sure with CEO know where he need to be when. Coordinates the schedule of her/his boss, prioritizing functions and appointments, ensuring that meetings, deadlines presentations and other duties of the executive office are carried out seamlessly. He / She often makes travel arrangements for the CEO, coordinating flights, accommodations and other itinerary specifics

Duties and Responsibilities

Office Management

Assistant to the CEO often must to perform office management duties. These responsibilities may involve overseeing the work of clerical and other administrative employees, as well as making sure that everything is in place for the office to function smoothly. Tasks may range from keeping up with office supply inventory to negotiating leases and purchasing agreements to approving vacation requests and other financial documents for clerical employees.

Communication Liaison

Assistant to the CEO often manage the flow of information to members of the management team, he/she may screen phone calls, open and sort mail, and summarize reports and memos that are received before passing the information on to the people he/she assist. Administers correspondence, manages incoming calls, and prioritizes phone messages, emails and mail. Handles all calls and visitors with grace, sophistication and professionalism. Answers and directs calls and emails of the CEO of a general nature

Information Preparation

Executive assistants are often involved in preparing and formatting information for internal and external distribution. This may include writing letters and memos, compiling data for reports, creating computerized presentations, writing reports, transcribing dictation, editing, proofreading and other information preparation duties.

Records Management

Maintaining organization records sometimes related to the scope of assistant to the Chief executive officer. He may be responsible for setting up and managing both electronic and paper filing systems, as well as taking steps to maintain that the ACB is in compliance with all applicable record-keeping requirements. Accurately tracks expenses for CEO by managing credit cards and receipts. Processes and submits receipts accurately and on schedule. Takes notes and distributes meeting minutes, agendas and meeting packages, Maintains physical and electronic office filing systems for CEO

Data Analysis

Assistant to the CEO is often involved in data analysis, using a combination of computer and critical thinking skills. Like, while top-level executives are accountable for ensuring that the ACB is meeting its overall financial goals, in many cases it is the assistant responsibility who carefully analyzes financial data and creates reports that identify areas of concern to the CEO may need to focus on or to get signed all procurement and financial documents by CEO.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

The assistant to the CEO will be required to undertake substantial travel both in the country and internationally.

Experience

The assistant to the CEO should have the following experience:

Must have 5 year experience in general management fields
Having 2 years relevant practical experience.
Proven working knowledge of ICC, the ACB and local organizations
Sound knowledge of ICT and computer technology
Familiar with evaluation methods
Skills

Language Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
Operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Peshnehad, Estilam and maktoob either international or local languages. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
A high level of English literacy including speaking, reading, writing and comprehension of complicated documents and technical cricketing language in English
Sound knowledge of IT and computer technology
Good budget control

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in business administration / Management/Finance

Strong understanding of theoretical and practical cricket issues including familiarity with ICC and ACC rules

Familiarity with Afghan government Law and Policies.

Considerable experience and demonstrated ability to serve the ACB in a courteous and professional manner.

Effective communication skills to communicate effectively with all concerned partners
