Afghanistan University Support and Workforce Development Program (USWDP) is designed to help Afghanistan's higher education professionals effectively manage the growth of tertiary education while improving academic quality. Building on the successes of the Afghanistan Higher Education Project and other initiatives, the USWDP project will improve the management capacity of the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and up to 10 public universities to ensure quality education and employment for a larger number of Afghan men and women. It will also assist in developing learning environments that foster well qualified and professional faculty members, highly capable and motivated students, diverse and market-oriented academic programs, sustainable public-private collaboration, international university partnerships, and other innovations that move Afghanistan toward the higher education system it deserves.
This is a trainer position reporting to the Senior Manager for Academic Leadership and Planning Department. The Research Methodology trainer will be responsible for training, providing materials and Leadership and Planning Department in the preparation of curricula and training materials. This position giving the final training report of a workshop in USWDP target universities. S/he will work closely with the Academic will conduct Training event in USWDP target universities for the faculty members and library staff.

Duties and Responsibilities
1.To provide technical support to Academic Leadership and Planning Department in arranging Research Methodology workshop in USWDP target universities.
2.To review and adapt training materials, deliver workshops and update training materials as needed.
3.Work collaboratively with M&E to better analyze of the USWDP training impact and provide training pertaining information to M&E;
4.Edit translated training materials and documents as necessary
Travels to Provinces
Require Travels to Provinces
1.Five years related experience in delivering training in Research Methodology;
2.Ability to write and verbally communicate proficiently in English, Dari and Pashtu
3.Experience with international development organizations or donor funded development projects is preferred.
4.Ability to organize and effectively follow through on multiple complex tasks.
5.Knowledge of Afghan culture, international norms of conduct, and the current political situation in Afghanistan
6.Prior international educational project experience required
7.Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
8.Ability to work both independently and in teams.
9.Ability to travel to the provinces
