Senior Executive Officer is responsible for managing all the supporting staff of Directorates but mainly he/she will be assigned for policy follow up in addition to giving advice on how to maximize Directorate’s work efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities
1- Preparation of Directorate’s Meeting, Conference, Workshop Agenda
2- Follow up of approved instructions, commands and reporting them to Minister’s Chief of Staff
3- Preparing and proof reading different kinds of presentation, and reports.
4- Surveillance of Ministries’ Guest House and its Staff.
5- Receiving Complaints from other Directorates, reading them and suggesting solution for those shortcomings
6- Preparing and implementing action plan for all Directorates supporting Staff
7- Participation in meeting, workshop, and seminar and summing up the gist of what was discussed
8- Drafts a range of documents in Dari and English, such as executive correspondence, briefing notes, speaking notes, presentations, press releases, letters and memoranda
9- Analyzes and manages the flow of information to and from the Executive Director, identifies the urgency and priority of items and makes decisions to advise the Executive Director on requests that require her personal attention; or to refer them to the appropriate Secretariat staff; or to respond personally based on own her understanding of MEC activities and issues.

• Prospective Senior Executive Officer should have a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration and ant other related fields and Master is highly preferred in these fields.
• At least 5 years of working experiences in the related field.
• Past work experience with the donors or donor funded projects in the context of Government Line Ministries.
