About Office of Senior Advisor to the President of Afghanistan on Banking and Finance
The Office of Senior Advisor to the President of Afghanistan on Banking and Finance is responsible for formulating the overall economic strategic goals of the government. It accomplishes this objective through four work streams: (1) coordinating policy-making for domestic and international economic issues, (2) coordinating economic policy advice for the President, (3) ensuring that policy decisions are consistent with the President’s economic goals and (4) monitoring implementation of the president’s economic policy agenda. The office also provides economic advice to the High Economic Council in pursuit of the above goals.
The Public Relations Expert will be responsible for developing PR policy & plan in order communicate key messages to defined target audiences. He/she will be also responsible for managing media relations and events, developing marking materials, and to collaborate closely with the government and private sector entities in order to establish goodwill and understanding between Office of Advisor and its stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop annual/quarterly public relation work plan for the office
Develop newsletters and other publications in Dari/Pashto and English languages
Coordinate with the Economist and Research team to provide sector specific research and economic reports for Office of the Economic Advisor website and social media pages
Develop contents aimed at promoting investment opportunities and economic development in Afghanistan.
Liaising with key government and non- government stakeholders seeking their coordination in promoting economic development programs
Inform colleagues from economic related news
Prepare reports from press conferences and other economic related events
Follow-up to the most trending publications and economic reports, and prepare executive summaries and reviews.
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Economics or any other relevant field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates with additional years of experience.
Fluent in written and spoken Dari/Pashto and English languages.
Competency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
