About MOIA

The Afghan Ministry of Interior fulfils a role of crucial functions to strengthen civilian protection, the rule of law and security in Afghanistan. These include:

• Rule of law enforcement
• Fight administrative corruption by strengthening and supporting transparency and accountability
• Ensure and implement police professionalization and MoI staff capacity building
• Respect human rights and enhance as well as strengthen the relationship between police and public
• Protect Afghan borders
• Promote women’s presence and participation in police ranks
• Coordinate amongst ANSF and judicial bodies of the country
• command and control of ANP
• Counter narcotics production and smuggle.

Job Summary

Receiving all official letters, written instructions, directions and orders and sharing them with relevant departments for further action and proceedings.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Organize meetings and client visits with DM to Admin
2. Develop monthly, quarterly and annual action plan
3. Develop daily, weekly and monthly programs for DM to Admin
4. Circulating written instruction and orders within relevant bodies and following up on them
5. Perform assigned tasks and responsibilities on timely manner in order to achieve department’s goals and objectives based on relevant supervisor’s instructions.
6. Performing other assignments in order to achieve department’s goals and objectives.
7. Develop and present performance reports to the supervisors.

Impact of Results
Summary of results is all about MoIA’s progress and effectiveness within Afghanistan. Effectiveness of legal consultations purposes adds to transparency and further accountability within MoIA.

Qualifications

At least Bachelor degree in Language and Literature, law and economics. Education

At least two year experience in the related field
Experience

Fluency in English, Dari/Pashto and written as well as spoken ability
Language Requirements:
Other skills (short term trainings and courses, on the job trainings and etc.) Comprehensive knowledge of laws, regulations and other legal documents of the country, liaising, capacity building, English language, computer program skills. Other skills
