Afghan Telecom Corporation was incorporated in 24 September 2005 to provide unified telecommunication services throughout Afghanistan under the stewardship of Ministry of Communications & Information Technology. Current service structure includes wireless, 4G/LTE, fiber optics, copper and satellite operations.

Job Summary

The Recruiting Coordinator works closely with HR Recruitment and staffing section to coordinate recruitment, interview and on boarding activities for prospective candidates of employment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule phone and face-to-faces interviews with recruiters and hiring managers.
• Solicit feedback from hiring managers and other interviewer after candidates have been interviewed.
• Identify and present new effective recruiting sources
• Prepare regular reports on recruiting efforts and activities
• Prepare and send appropriate offer letters and other required pre-employment paperwork to selected candidates.
• Receive, review and submit all completed pre-employment paperwork for review and background check processing
• Notify candidates and all pertinent Managers of all formal approvals; coordinate travel arrangements when necessary.
• Provide orientation guidelines/expectations to new hires
• Assist with the human resource portion of new hire orientation including the distribution of Employee handbooks, completion of employment paperwork and providing information/forms for benefits such as health insurance and direct deposit.
• Notify candidates that were not selected for open positions.
• Able to interact individuals at all levels of organization
• Ability to adapt and adjust to client requests; program shifts; policy and procedural changes as required and communicated by management.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and work independently
• Present a positive image, embody leadership qualities and promote the organization with confidence and enthusiasm
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Bachelor Degree in, Management ,Human resource management or related field,
Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resource with national or international organizations
