About Jahan University
With a rapidly growing economy and ever expanding frontiers of knowledge and technology, Afghanistan stands at the point of economic take-off. JU gets its name from a Dari word, which means world, and the logo portrays the name in Dari. The name clearly and simply explains the vision, to graduate professionals. Duties and Responsibilities
Greet and welcome visitors as soon as they arrive at the Reception
Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
Update calendars and schedule meeting
General other secretarial tasks to be performed in the Admin Section.
- Document management, contact with the public.
- Informatics, especially all window applications.
- Excellent knowledge of Dari, Pashto and English (working knowledge)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Secondary School Education plus Diploma in Business Administration.
- A minimum of 1 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
