Job Summary

We are currently seeking an ambitious and highly-skilled Sales and Marketing Manager with a track record of exceptional, transformative management practices. Duties and Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee day-to-day sales, monitoring, and forecasting to better understand the market
2. Continually assess our marketing techniques and their efficacy in affecting sales
3. Stay up-to-date on current market trends
4. Work collaboratively with the sales team to assess current projections
5. Own ultimate responsibility for successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals
6. Collaborate with marketing team to innovatively reach more potential customers
7. Take calculated risks to increase profitability and brand recognition
8. Work in a hands-on fashion, building the team—provide motivation and inspiration
9. Set the precedent for excellence through leading by example
10. Cultivate and deepen client relationships and partnerships that add value
11. Develop exclusive proposals for potential corporate customers like Ministries, Embassies, Camps, and NGOs and assign sales team to cover it
12. Create a professional image in the market through our advertising and branding
13. Expand UA Telecom services to provinces and apply the zone wise sales plan
14. Coordinate with Army Compounds, Airports, ISAF and Military Camps across Afghanistan
15. Advertising and promote UA Telecom’s new activities and services through UA Telecom website, online, social media, direct mail, Billboards and TV channels
16. Ensure effective control of marketing results, and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets and time
17. Represent company at trade association meetings, conferences and Exhibitions to promote services
18. Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
19. Weekly sales meeting in order to motivate, assign new tasks and enquire regarding the assigned tasks
20. Assign monthly sales target for the sales team and explain the rules and regulations
21. Attending all company departmental and general meetings
22. Preside over staff weekly meetings ensure pricing and sales process is correct
23. Weekly and Monthly plans to the Top Management
24. Daily, weekly and monthly report to the Top Management

1. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, Master’s degree preferred
2. Certifications that provide evidence of a desire for continued education on business development, marketing and management are a plus
3. 5+ years’ experience in management in a corporate setting
4. Current on industry standards and best practices
5. Transformative approach to leadership that inspires and empowers others
6. Aware of the latest market trends and shifts, as well as projections for the future
7. Evidence of ability to innovate and implement change successfully
8. Ability to prioritize high-value tasks and focus under pressure
9. Exceptional communication and presentation skills
10. Able to be persuasive and procure buy-in from upper management
11. Solid computer skills and awareness of web-based marketing and social media
12. Outstanding organizational skills
13. Driven and committed to success while maintaining integrity
14. Fluent in Dari, Pashto, and English
