Reporting to HOD / VC – Academic
Qualification required: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Political Science, Law or relevant field
Experience required: 5 years
Preferred qualifications PhD

Duties and Responsibilities

The broad responsibilities and duties of this position include:

1. Teach a range of undergraduate courses (20-24 Credits per week)
2. In addition to teaching, faculty are required to provide service to the university in some capacity, either by serving on a committee, advising students on academic affairs, or in other ways.
3. The lecturer will be supported for the research activities in the campus as well.
4. Prepare daily lesson plan as per the academic curriculum of the BBA, BCS, and Law & Political Science department of the Karwan University.
5. To conduct the classes as per the academic curriculum, policy and procedures of Departments.
6. Prepare and conduct assignments, Quizzes and tests for relevant Department classes as well as providing necessary support to the management in above areas of regular intervals
7. Maintain class management & discipline
8. Reporting class progress to the head of the Department.
9. Attending lectures meetings base on the administration request.
10. Working as per the Karwan University rules, policies and regulation and following all the procedures with strong consideration to its privacies & norms.
11. interviewing course applicants on the time of admissions
12. invigilating examinations and attending and speaking at conferences and seminars
13. writing research proposals, papers and other publications and reading academic journals
14. Evaluating and giving feedback on the subjects, curriculums and other related tasks to the HOD.

• Master’s Degree (Required), Ph.D. degree (Highly preferred) with the Approval of Ministry of Higher Education.
• Five (5) years teaching experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• When hired, the successful applicant is expected to provide official proof of academic documents
