Job Summary

Insta Telecom is seeking a driven Sales Manager to lead a cross-functional sales team in identifying new customer sales opportunities in a designated territory, developing a sales pipeline, managing the sales cycle and achieving new customer booking goals. Another key focus is extending the reach of Insta Telecom as an enterprise-wide solution within the assigned base of existing customers and achieving expansion of customer base. Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business in DSL, Microwave and VSAT solutions from retail and enterprise segments.

As part of the sales team will work closely with the business support office and responsible in sourcing and responding to tenders, bid documents to win large enterprise businesses from Governments, NGOs and other International Agencies in Afghanistan.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Taking ownership in developing new accounts in Microwave/ wireless business segment
• Develop and manage customer relationships at mid to senior levels in Government, UN Agencies, Foreign Embassies, International NGOs and Private companies
• Sourcing RFPs, tenders and Bid documents through various sources by listing the company as a preferred vendors with government departments, Ministries and other international agencies
• Create detailed proposal documents, as part of a formal bidding process based on the prospective customer’s specific requirements
• Serve as the interface between the customer and the INSTA Telecom's support team of technical managers, project manager, and commercial manager
• Develop winning commercial strategy, contract terms, and negotiate with customer
to secure wireless/fiber optic business.
• Executing digital marketing campaigns with relevant contents and local market insights

Skills

3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Business Sales, Corporate Sales with a telecom company

Qualifications

• Good knowledge and understanding of Afghanistan wireless carrier market, Wireless Technologies and Network.
• 3-5 years of experience in a Sales position with a major telecommunications equipment /service provider,
previous work experience with an ISP (Internet Service Provider) will be an added advantage
• Bachelor's degree, Masters degree desired, or equivalent experience
• Language Skills: Dari, Pashto, and English
