Therefore to enhance the capacity to strengthen its ability to deliver effective, efficient and transparent services in MPW the Human Resource Directorate wishes to recruit the following staff on contract basis from development Budget for the Ministry of Public works.

Job Summary

Enters all donor data from checks, correspondence, and online transactions into donor file on daily, weekly and monthly basis accurately in both hard and electronic copies and updates donor contact information to ensure current records are up-to-date

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate the financial reconciles information with relevant departments.
• Explores capabilities of donor management system and shares knowledge with staff
• Responds to donor inquiries (by email and phone) in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Provides support in the creation and distribution of donor communications (electronic and print) and appeals.
• Seeks new processes to increase the efficiency and efficacy of the donor collection and stewardship process.
• Coordinate with responsible staff to chick and ensure the prepared draft of ministerial correspondence, submissions, cabinet Papers, requests, briefing and speech notes, parliamentary questions, and official information requests contribute to building understanding of outcomes, indicators, and measurement frameworks.
• Coordinate the time frames, meeting schedule and administrative work
• Coordinate with Ministry and project teams on operation and compliance with policies and produces
• Experience supervising contract compliance, including grants and subcontract compliance
• Coordinate with relevant staff for preparation of work plans, schedules and updating.
• Need to ensure transparency of information flows – sharing / distributing strategy documents, TOR, project documents, etc.
• Promote governments as managers of the coordination process, assisting governments to take over the driving seat in prioritizing strategic and programmatic priorities.
• Consider governments as partners rather than recipients – avoiding ‘us and them’ relationship.
• Promote policy and institutional reform through support to processes, rather than as conditionality’s.
• Be less insistent on the need to recruit northern technical assistance to manage projects funds, and more balanced in use of local as well as northern NGOs.
• To ensure complementarity and synergy of interventions financed.
• To provide the basis for more substantive collaboration between government and donor.
• To encouraging and assist the ministry to play the role of coordinator of donor support
• (first, through the establishment of sector-level strategic and programmatic frameworks, within which donors should fit their support).
• Any other assignment as required by the supervisor.

• Ability to divide tasks within the area of his/her responsibility
• Proficiency in English, Pashto and Dari writing and speaking.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Dari

• Ability in English language communication is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Self-discipline, integrity, and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines are required.
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include PowerPoint, and excel.
Job Requirements:
• University Degree in Business Administration or Economics.
• PMP, Prince-II or other related certificates are preferred.
• 4 years’ relevant experience in similar position with government, UN Offices or International NGOs.
