Job Summary

• Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options.
• Review existing business products and commercial services to ensure continuous improvement and growth
• Develop and maintain industry knowledge and networks and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve both short and long term goals;
• Identify industry/business developments opportunities and challenges;
• Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
• Focus on sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume and value of transactions.
• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products delivery schedules, merchandising techniques etc.
• Recommend changes in product/services and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
• Resolve customer/clients complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Require travel to the regions to promote M-Paisa to regional Roshan staff and potential clients/customers; and get an understanding of the regional market dynamics
• Ensure the platform requirements are defined to support products and promotions
• Provide a roadmap and implementation plans for products and promotions
• Work closely with the Head of Operations and M-Commerce to make sure that Customer issues Field Management Issues are taken care of and do not create risk on the commercial end
• Recommend new opportunities and promotions that help increasing the volume and value of transactions.
