Job Summary

AfghaNet is a registered Internet Service Provider in Afghanistan and is looking for Sales Intern. Under direct supervision of Sales Manager, we are looking for a motivated and results-driven sales intern to join our growing team. The individual in this role would be responsible for calling prospective customers, explaining our services, and guiding them through their purchase process. We are seeking a candidate who is persuasive, energetic, and ready to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

The key responsibilities and accountabilities of the Sale Intern are outlined as follows:
Phone Calls: Facilitate cold and warm calls to prospective leads
Phone and Email Follow-ups: Schedule and follow through on calls with leads and current customers. Communicate with leads and customers via email
Answering Queries: Answer all lead and customer questions accurately. Prioritize and/or escalate lead and customer questions as needed
Promotions: Promote internet services as directed by upper management
Update Customers: Inform leads and customers of current promotions and discounts
Customer Relationships: Maintain positive business and customer relationships in the effort to extend customer lifetime value
Strategies: Develop strategies for more effective sales, both individually and as part of a team
Referrals: Source and work customer referrals
Tracking: Track all appointments, sales, complaints, status reports, etc. thoroughly for manager review
RFP/RFQs: Search RFPs/RFQs on websites and inform it to the management.
Meetings: Attend meetings with sales officer and visit leads for answer any queries they might have.
Trial Period Notification: Notify client about their internet connection and trial period via
email/phone call.
Disconnection Notification: Notify client about their internet disconnection vial email/phone
call.
Customer Service: Speak with dissatisfied customers, or entertain high profile clients
Self-Improvement: Self-improve continuously by way of experience and manager feedback

Qualifications

High School Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field (more preferable).
Better English writing and speaking skills
