DAI is implementing the USAID funded Musharikat project across Afghanistan, working in all 34 provinces with the goal of increasing the equality and empowerment of women throughout the country. Musharikat will provide opportunities for women’s rights activists and groups to jointly identify and carry-out discreet advocacy and public awareness campaigns designed to influence local, provincial and national public policies banning harmful social practices, advance women’s welfare and opportunities by specifically building a constituency supportive of women’s rights.
Job Summary
PURPOSE:
The Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator will support the Monitoring and Evaluation Director in data collection, synthesis, and analysis. S/he will be responsible for monitoring the qualify and accuracy of the data collected from the regions.

Duties and Responsibilities
OBJECTIVE AND DUTIES:
• Gathers and compiles regional data for use in analyses and results reporting according to AMEP.
• Take a lead role in developing standardized forms and questionnaires
• Take a lead role in conducting surveys belong to central region.
• Supports the M&E Director in responding to ad-hoc requests form USAID
• Gathers and compiles data for use in monitoring progress and for analyses and reporting
• Works with Regional Director and M&E Director to collect and report regional data and results, including trends and impacts to project success
• Develop monthly activity calendar of central region
• Provides training to provincial- and district-level technical staff and grantees in basic M&E methodology and M&E procedure
• Other tasks as assigned
Skills
• 3-4 years of experience monitoring internship data for results reporting on USAID projects
• Fluent in Dari/and or Pashto with good speaking skills English
Qualifications
• Bachelor plus four years of experience monitoring programs in Afghanistan or 12th graduate plus 7 years of work experience.
• Previous experience conducting surveys, and capturing and disseminating lessons learned preferred
• 3-4 years of experience monitoring internship data for results reporting on USAID projects
• Fluent in Dari/and or Pashto with good speaking skills English
REPORTING:
• The position reports to the Monitoring and Evaluation Director
