Our aim is to provide a range of premier services encompassing cell tower co-location, operation and management, network planning and design, and Over-The-Air device management, to Telecommunication and ISP services providers facings a challenging environment.

Job Summary:

The Operations Director reports to the Chief Operating Officer for all duties and assignments and functions as the senior member of the ABS management team responsible for the implementation, operation and day-to-day performance of the DTTV network.

Duties & Responsibilities:

General duties include, but are not limited to:

Recruiting, training and managing a multi-functional team

Managing a 24/7 network operations center (NOC) in Kabul

Managing customer relations and technical support

Supporting operations with CRM tools, technical solutions, billing and other essential functions

Implementing data and information management systems

Preparing budgets and routine business reports

Maintaining a statistical dashboard of network performance metrics

Job Requirement:

General requirements include:

Minimum Bachelor degree in the related field of communications and digital media

Experience managing operations for the delivery of commercial TV, cable TV, satellite TV or wireless services

Fluency in English is essential, with competency in Persian and/or Dari and Pashto a definite plus

Competence in managing customer service teams and developing large-scale business processes

Significant supervisory, coaching and hands-on project management skills

Confident and capable of building scalable operations in a startup enterprise environment

Clear and effective oral and written communications skills

Good computer skills and experience with current data management and CRM software

Flexible, continuous learner, excellent communicator, works well in team environment, thrives on challenge, confident with customers and solving problems

Ability to manage multiple functions and programs at the same time under extreme conditions

Ability to work independently and as a key contributor to the timely delivery of corporate goals
