Tetra Tech, Afghanistan Justice Sector Support Program (JSSP), is seeking applications for Logistics Specialist I position for Project Management Office (PMO) section under the supervision of Logistics Supervisor.

Proven experience developing and managing Excel spreadsheet to input and track data

Experience managing inventory controls of merchandise and materials

Experience receiving, stocking, distributing, loading and unloading supplies and shipments

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment

Duties & Responsibilities:


Coordinate information received and materials issued and received from individuals at the direction of the Logistics Manager and Logistics Supervisor (LN)

Be responsible for supporting logistics operations as tasked by the Logistics Supervisor

Perform day to day logistics tasks associated with the logistical support for deployed operations

Perform tasks such as shipping and receiving, stocking and restocking of materials, inventory of received materials and maintaining a ledger of issued materials

Be responsible for accountability of inventory in the Procurement/Logistics Department

Perform activities to monitor and maintain inventory control of merchandise or materials

Evaluate inventory levels and notify purchasing agent when reorders are needed

Inventory and do other related tasks such as receiving, stocking, distributing, and packing

Maintain inventory records and prepare reports

Be responsible for accountability of inventory in the Logistics department

Perform Data Entry functions to include Cost Point, Asset Manager and Maximo

Check vehicle tire pressure and all Vehicle fluids (Add when necessary)

Report potential mechanical problems to supervisor

Load and unload supplies from vehicles

Uncrate shipments and stores supplies in storeroom or warehouse

Minimum four years of professional experience, including providing support to international donor projects
