National Skills Development Program (NSDP)
The Afghan-India VTC Manager will be responsible for overall management of the vocational training courses to be implemented in the respective VTC and will report on the progress of the activities to VTCs Management Directorate.
Initial duration of the assignment will be for 7 months with 3 months probationary period and possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance and availability of budget. This will involve the following activities:
In general, the Afghan-India VTC Manage will undertake the following tasks:

Duties & Responsibilities:
a. Overall management of the receptive vocational training center.
b. Work closely with the VTCs Management directorate and NSDP staff in implementation of the vocational training courses.
c. Manage to identify the market orientated trades for the skills training.
d. Manage and facilitate the trainees and trainer selection with close collaboration VTCs Management Directorate.
e. Assess the vocational training courses under the competency based vocational training system.
f. Ensure good quality delivery of vocational training on time and within budget.
g. Manage to provide all the require stuff for the quality training to the trainees and trainers on time.
h. Ensure that gender issues are mainstreamed in all implementing activities.
i. Manage and supervise the VTC and deal with daily operational matters as required.
j. Managing attendance of field staff including master trainers and trainees and providing monthly reports to the main office.
k. Ensuring provision of vocational training based National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS) developed by NSDP.
l. Providing Business Development Services (BDS) training to the trainees at the end of the vocational training.
m. Providing job placement and market linkage support to the vocational training graduates.
n. Preparing and submission of monthly, quarterly, annual and casual report to VTCs Management Directorate and NSDP.
o. Any other tasks and duties assign by the line supervisor and senior management.
Job Location:Afghanistan, Kabul
a. Bachelor Degree in Economic, Business Administration, or any other related field with 5 years relevant experience.
b. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, negotiating skills.
c. Effective communication, IT and interpersonal skills including (i) a full working knowledge of English (ii) fluency in one national language and good reading, writing, listening and speaking skill in the other and (iii), the ability to interact and coordinate with NSDP staff, contractors, Government officials, consultants.

f. Experience working with UN Agency or Non-Governmental Organization ( NGO)
