Job Summary:

The NOC Assistant should ensure maximum possible service availability and performance. To provide support services for Engineering and other technical teams. To provide proactive notification to customers.
These results in a highly diverse range of duties for the NOC – Engineers are required to ensure they are fulfilled in a timely, co-operative and professional manner.

Skills Description:

Must have demonstrated excellent interpersonal, organizational and services oriented skills. Good communication and report writing skills and excellent writing, reading and speaking skills in Pashto, Dari and English languages.

Duties & Responsibilities:


Responsible for the core and VSAT networks daily supervision and monitoring.

Responsible for the minor maintenance on the wireless and Microwave core network.

Responsible for the proactive supervision of all key customers and notifying them VIA email/phone call/SMS.

Responsible for reporting daily, weekly all incidents of the wireless, Microwave and VSAT networks.

Responsible for answering customers call and do first level troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

Degree on Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and word) is required.
Minimum of one year of progressively responsible experience in Communications/Information Technology. Minimum of six months metropolitan/wide area network architecture and management experience. Additional experience in data and Telecommunication design and fielding is preferable.
