Job Summary:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, the successful candidates will be responsible for performing electrical systems and equipment assessments for any type of facilities, preparing condition assessment reports, including system narrative descriptions and deficiency cost estimates, and entry of condition assessment data and findings into database. You will perform assessment work as well as plan, direct, and supervise the assessment work of other electrical engineers. You will conduct onsite inspections of electrical equipment and systems as well as review electrical design drawings, electrical equipment specifications, calculations, and documents for both small and large assessment projects. These positions also entail assisting in preparing client presentations and proposal responses. As a professional electrical engineer, you will be required to assess the existing electrical equipment and systems for safety, condition, age, capacity and design compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

1. Extensive facility electrical power distribution, lighting, communications, and instrumentation equipment and systems survey and assessment experience for any type of facilities.
2. Demonstrated leadership role in performing facility electrical system and equipment facility surveys and condition assessments.
3. Working knowledge of applicable IEEE, ANSI, IEC requirements as well as applicable NFPA/NEC codes.
4. Willingness to travel to client offices and jobsites is expected as well as the ability to perform site and facility walk downs as required to conduct condition assessments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

JOB Description for Electrical engineer:
1. Engineer with Significant facility condition assessment experience; specifically, on facility electrical power distribution, lighting and communication system.
2. Using computer-aided design (CAD) and engineering software to create project plans and circuit diagrams.
3. Designing and overseeing the installation of electrical systems in buildings.
4. Agreeing project specifications, budgets and timescales with clients and managers
5. Undertaking relevant research
6. Implementing designs
7. Creating test procedures
8. Testing, evaluating, modifying and re-testing products
9. Writing reports and documentation
10. Analyzing and interpreting data
11. Attending meetings and giving presentations.
12. Review Electrical documentation and specifications.
13. Will be able to conduct the condition assessment of existing electrical system and communication system.
