The accountant is responsible for performing and maintain day to day company’s accounting and financial activities
Provinces to travel:
Excellent Knowledge of Afghanistan Income Tax Law.
Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Time management and prioritization skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist the Admin & Finance Manager in the preparation and /or maintenance of all financial statements, including but not limited to General Journal, Ledger, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Payroll, and Inventory.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
Booking and posting the daily transaction to QuickBooks speed and accuracy.
Record account payable and account receivable.
Scrutinize all invoice for accuracy before passing them for payment
Preparing monthly invoice and statement to vendors
Plan, organize and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the company’s monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner.
Resolution of finance related queries.
Provide financial support to team members
Checks, reconcile and maintain a verity of financial and other business record and documents.
Preparing payroll and arranging payment.
Assists in the quarterly and annual audit.
Manage and record petty cash
Maintain finance file and record
Keep update record of fixed assets
Liaison with external auditors
Responsible for tax compliance covering the filing of required tax returns with the Ministry of Finance in due time including, but not limited to, company Income tax, withholding tax, Personnel Income tax, contract tax, import duties and all other taxes.
Liaise with tax authorities and act as the key point of contact and support taxation matters of the company.
Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns.
Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
Manage and coordinate tax audits.
Prepare all tax papers on a regular basis and handle all information data requests.
Responsible for clearing of annual tax returns with MOF.
Responsible for the prompt payment of all taxes, statutory contributions, levies, rates and assessments due to the Government as the case may be in due time periodically.
Responsible for effective tax planning as per Afghanistan Income Tax Law.

Bachelor Degree in Financial Management or Accounting.
At least 3 years relevant experience in Accountant & Finance.
