The scope of duties of the Senior Project Designing Specialist will cover all project designing related activities under DG Skills Development.
The Senior Labor Affairs Adviser will be responsible for i) Review and analyze the skills development and business development related documents ii) Developing project concepts and proposal iii) Develop business development guidelines and providing business development support to TVET graduates under MODLAMD.
The Senior Project Designing Specialist will work under the overall responsibility NSDP program director.
Initial duration of the assignment will be for 7 months with 3 months probationary period and possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance and availability of budget. This will involve the following activities:

Duties & Responsibilities:
Review and analyze the skills development and business development related documents
b. Project designing related to skills and business development required for DG Skills Development.
c. Developing business development guideline for post-employment support to vocational training graduates.
d. Developing business developing development guideline for post-employment support of vocational training graduates
e. Capacity building of the provincial staff on post-employment of vocational training graduates.
f. Conducting business development services sessions for vocational training graduates.
g. Close follow up on implementation of entrepreneurship grants for vocational training under planned under the program.
h. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Job Location:Afghanistan, Kabul
Bachelor Degree in Economic, Business Administration or any related field with 7 years relevant experience or Master Degree Economic, Business Administration or any related field with 5 years relevant experience Skill to draft and analyze policy documents;
b. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, diplomacy skills.
c. Effective communication, IT and interpersonal skills including (i) a full working knowledge of English (ii) fluency in one national language and good reading, writing, listening and speaking skill in the other and (iii), the ability to interact and coordinate with NSDP staff, contractors, Government officials, consultants and the World Bank staff.
