The Afghanistan chamber of industries and mines is a non-profited, non-governmental and un-dependent organization which mainly provides services in the field of industry and mines sectors of Afghanistan. The chamber has been established in March 2017 Based on the decree of the president of the Islamic republic of Afghanistan, his Excellency Mohammad Ashraf Ghani Since then the ACIM provided various services for afghan factories as well as paved the way for new investments in the country.

5+ years of significant professional experience in the NGO’s/ private sector;

Prior experience as an office assistant, office administrator, or handling administrative responsibilities in a related field

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize

Excellent English language skills both written and oral;

Excellent Pashto and Dari languages skills both written and oral;

Motivated to take on additional projects and solve problems

Able to organize and manage large amounts of files, tasks, schedules, and information

Self-directed and able to work without supervision

Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

Comfortable in both a leadership and team-player role, manage team members, lead assistant meetings, and supervises when needed

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful, environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and typing skills;

Teamwork: Proven leading and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and multi-agency environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.

Time flexibility, ACIM communication may require working overtime or weekends due to needs of the senior leadership;

Duties & Responsibilities:


To Plan, direct and manage the operation of ACIM, administrative issues and specialized programs;

To monitor and maintain office equipment, inventory supplies; orders replacement supplies as needed;

To create, update, and maintain personnel records, financial records, and other records and databases;

To prepare correspondence, documentation, or presentation materials;

To coordinate work with regional offices of ACIM and member unions of industries and mines;

To purchase equipment and other supplies, like computers, printers etc.;

To prepare reports on expenses, office budgets, and other expenditures;

Preparing travel arrangements for office staff and managers; overseeing and preparing expense reports and budgets;

Organizing special functions and social events;

To assist other departments (such as financial department or HR) with administrative or clerical support;

To analyze various reports and make recommendations to senior management;

To Schedule ACIM calendar and update programs as needed;

To update office policies and procedures;

Performs other duties as assigned by CEO and senior management.

Qualifications:
