Job Summary:

Accountant/cashier is responsible to carry out daily cash count/ clearance and payments as per instruction.

Skills Description:


Writing skills and demonstrated ability to develop written reports and action plans in both English and Pashto.

Considerable interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain
effective working relationships

Strong understanding of theoretical and practical cricket issues including familiarity with ICC and ACC rules

Duties & Responsibilities:


Deal with all petty cash related transactions and compute and record totals of transactions

Sort, count, and wrap currency and pay project bills by cash and the vouchers

Update cash book on daily basis and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports

Receive cash and checks and issue receipt vouchers

Take care of liquidation documents

Prepare cash receipt voucher and cash payment voucher

Prepare the cash replenishment request on need bases

Maintain all advances track record

Follow up with advance holder to clear their advances

Assure approved advance request form before issuing any cash

Report theft of funds or overages/shortages in accordance with ACB petty cash policy

Maintain proper filling system and keep the documents in protected environment

Assure confidentiality of all kind of information and documents

Check the advance eligibility criteria as per ACB petty cash policy before issuing any cash advance

Prepare monthly and quarterly cash flow statement to management and donors if required

Prepare cash book report on monthly bases and submit to management accordingly

Prepare bank reconciliation statement at least once in week

Prepare advance reconciliation on monthly basis

Make sure that the ACB petty cash policy is highly exercised

Prepare monthly payable and receivable reports to management

Make sure that the petty cash amount in your custody is highly safe, secure and protected

The locker passwords shall be kept confidential and the keys shall be kept in high supervision to avoid any
misuse

Take care of any other tasks assigned by supervisor/ACB top management.

Masters degree in finance or accounting with 1 year experience

Bachelor degree with 3 years relevant work experience.

Ability to use different accounting software
