Job Summary:

The Security Officer will assist the Security Manager in the (re)search, analysis and compilation of various security and protection/precaution information, issues and measurements. He needs to plan, organize and implement security-related assignments; identify priority activities/assignments and to perform the priorities as required.

Proficiency with MS Office programs i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint.

Be able to travel within the country.

Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures related to security.

Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Knowledge of public security codes, policies, and regulations.

Have a thorough knowledge of security methods and techniques.

Be able to utilize a well-developed network of contacts throughout the country.

Experience in protection of cash in transit & individuals.

Be able to work with all levels of company’s management as well as staff.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Co-supervision of the security personnel and guards across the company.
2. Maintain safe and secure environment for employees as well as customers by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
3. Arrange proper escort to transport cash or individuals to specified locations and to provide necessary protection.
4. Help in drafting security plan for a specific area/location of operations.
5. Implementation of new security infrastructure and corporate security policies, procedures and guidelines in order to mitigate threat and address changing security requirements.
6. Ensure that the management and the staff members are kept fully informed on security matters.
7. Write reports to the Security Manager as well as the management of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
8. Assist in background checking of employees and vendors.
9. Assist in recovery of company dues on employees or other parties.
10. Assist in estimation and identifying the number of security guards required per each premises of the company.
11. Conduct routine security surveys of company’s offices and guest-houses.
12. Monitor and control access at building entrances and parking area.
13. Monitor CCTV recordings for observing any suspicious activity in any of the company’s premises.
14. Inform current and newly joined employees about the security codes and measures of the company.
15. Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
16. Assist in investigations initiated by the line manager in any office of the company.
17. Assist in training of all staff in security procedure and practice to create an integrated, corporate-wide security program.
18. Assist in establishing policies and procedures for reviewing crisis situation and contingency plans for emergencies.
19. Evaluation of security aspects of new business locations (office & branches) by conducting risks and threat analysis.
20. Other job-related tasks as assigned by the management.

Qualifications:


High School graduation is must; higher educations in military field will be preferred.

Past experience in security field will be an advantage.
