Job Summary:

The Accounts Officer executes and maintains financial and accounting services and provides technical support to the Finance Manager in order to fulfill the mid-level financial, regulatory and administrative requirements of the Department.

Skills Description:

. Excellent computer literacy skills in MS Office (Word and Excel)

. Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Enter and record the transactions in the financial system in order to ensure that company’s financial records are maintained accurately and up-dated.

Coordinate with Settlement Unit to record client’s deposits & withdrawals on timely basis.

Coordinate with CSO Cashiers for daily cash reconciliation.

Review payment/receipt vouchers prepared by other concerned departments to ensure that the information is complete, accurate and complies with Company’s internal policies and procedures.

Shall reconcile.

Maintaining files and record keeping in appropriate and accurate manner.

Establish and maintain a solid system for inventory records, fixed assets and stocks.

Review accounting entries and perform periodically control activities.

Prepare weekly & monthly financial reports.

Communicate effectively and efficiently with relevant internal departments.

Be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, high velocity environment.

Keep company’s financial information strictly and confidential.

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting.

2+ years of experience in finance or accounting field.

Ability to analyze financial information efficiently and accurately.

Ability to effectively write daily correspondence, reports, maintain documentation and complete required forms.

Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afghan local languages as well as computer literacy.

Disciplined, honest and hard-worker.
