Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead business assessments, develop business development plans and oversee the execution of plans, providing continuous support and oversight to businesses,
Develop monitoring framework and ensure quality performance
Mentor, coach and train businesses on all aspect of business management on a regular basis. This include: identifying capacity building needs and produce sound need assessment for each enterprise, produce action plans to address the identified gaps/needs, provide support in preparing, producing and finalizing business plans, and provide practical training and coaching in all topics of business management (accounting, sales and marketing, financing, planning, etc.)
Identify and implement practical solutions to address barriers to growth at all stages of business development.
Work on the business product/service quality enhancement based on market/customer demands
Improve the business packaging, delivery, sales and marketing approaches
Decrease the business wastage, cut costs and improve financial oversight
Enable businesses to increase sales, increase clients base and develop new product/service lines
Collect M&E data on a regular basis as required by the M&E team to measure enterprise performances and for process reporting purposes.
Develop bi-weekly and monthly reports of each business client.
Document compelling stories and case studies from the business clients.
Other Duties and Special Assignments:
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required that may include administrative and project management tasks.
Reporting & Communication:
Provide reports to ASARA’s Task Order Manager on bi-weekly, monthly and completion of each assigned businesses.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Strong theoretical and practical background in Mentorship.
At least five years of work experience in the area of private sector development.
Strong writing and reading abilities in English, and Dari-Pashto.
