Job Summary:

Kakar Advocates seeks to hire an experienced Finance Assitant, who can take charge of firm’s expenditures, it’s accurate recording, and timely reporting to Senior Management. Applicants must fill the following requirements:

Skills Description:

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Daily record keeping of expenses in the QuickBooks;
2. Responsible for preparing of petty cash book, vouchers, and ledgers;
3. Maintain an appropriate control over cash book, receivables, expenses and regularly check of the physical cash balance against the book balance;
4. Ensure all expenses are recorded with the assigned budget code;
5. Preparing staff travel expense claims and per-diems;
6. Checking and posting of staff expenses claims;
7. Updating the financial ledger for all bank transaction;
8. Completing month end bank and cash reconciliation;
9. Preparing weekly and monthly reports;
10. Any other tasks assigned by seniors.

Job Location:

Afghanistan, Kabul


1. Minimum education, Bachelor of any finance related fields;
2. Minimum of 2 years related experience;
3. Complete knowledge of QuickBooks;
4. Fluent in English, and local languages (Dari and Pashto);
5. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks;
6. Ability to work both independently and as a team member in a deadline-driven environment.
