About Excellent Planning and Construction Company (EPCC):
EPCC is a registered private benefit construction, Construction Planning
The project/projects manager will be responsible for all aspects of the project/projects effective implementation, management, procurement, coordination with monitoring team and technical team of employer and other stakeholders. He shall ensure project smoothly implementation according the work plan and completion of the project within the project duration. The project/projects manager will also be responsible to track the financial payments with Employer financial Team
The Project/Projects manager will report to the Vice President – Technical of the firm.
The Project/Projects manager must be an experienced and qualified engineer with the ability to work alone, meet deadlines, train related staff, and work individually and as apart of a greater team efforts.
Requires travel to provinces:
Familiar with project management and Project implementation techniques.
Knowledge of MS Office and other required systems.
Ability to work effectively with minimal direction.
Must be good problem solver, analytical, creative, and innovative
Strong communication skills in English along Pushtu and Dari (oral and written).
Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment.
Must be able to communicate online.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The project/projects manager will be responsible for the following tasks, which include but are not limited to the followings:
1. Project Implementation:
Effective project implementation according to the work plans, and based on Employer technical specification, drawings and requirements.
Preparation of daily and weekly action plans to ensure that all works going on according to the schedule.
Implementation of the project in best project Management manner in terms of high quality, low cost and short time. .
Supervision of the project technical and administrative team in terms to achieve high working performance.
Fulfill all EMPLOYER requirements, formats and regulation in project implementation.
2. Project Procurement:
Responsible to develop a comprehensive procurement plan to ensure the timely supply of project materials and equipments.
Provide timely construction materials request forms to Procurement Department as stated in the Procurement Policy.
Check and control the procurement of project materials.
3. Coordination & Reporting:
Develop and track good relations and cooperation with EMPLOYER monitoring team as well as Consultant technical team
Prepare all required reports to the EPCC main office as well as to Employer, as required based on contracts.
Ensure that the payment process of project going on based on contract.
4. Project Management & Office Operation:
To oversee the day-to-day office staff operation.
To control and maintain project expanses and utilization of the materials
Carries out other duties that are consistent with overall focus of the assignment as assigned by the Organisation Director, Deputy Director-Technical, or their designee.
Job Location:Afghanistan, Kabul
University degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent in related field.
