We are looking for an organized and driven accountant to join our growing team at our company. The Accountant position will work closely with our sales operations team personnel and handle day-to-day bookkeeping, examining financial records and perform the financial operations of business.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage entire accounting operations which include: cash management, accounts receivables, accounts payable and bookkeeping.
Prepare and record Cash & Bank Receipts, Payment Vouchers, Sales Invoices, Purchase Orders & other necessary documents.
Conduct month-end and year-end closing process, review of necessary accruals & adjustments and ensuring completeness & accuracy of the accounting activities.
Prepare P&L and cash flow statement on monthly basis.
Process funds movement within the company’s accounts as & when required by management. Also ensure to follow up on approvals & forward the payment advice to the concerned.
Prepare statement of accounts for customers and suppliers.
Prepare POs, PIs, Invoices, Debit & Credit Notes.
Physical counting of the stocks and promotional items in hand and issuance of the Internal Audit reports to the management, as and when required.
Job Location:Afghanistan, Herat
At least 5 years’ experience in finance and accounting
Bachelor or Master degree in Commerce
Must have practical experience of QuickBook accounting system
Working knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Handling Cash & Bank accounts, reconciliations of accounts
Monthly closing of accounts & reporting
Fluent in Dari and English languages
