Tetra Tech, Afghanistan Justice Sector Support Program (JSSP), is seeking applications for Criminal Team Lead - Kabul position for Case Management System (CMS) section under the supervision of CMS Section Lead.

Skills Description:


Ability to develop and maintain relationships with cross-sectoral key stakeholders to ensure collaboration to meet project goals

Demonstrated understanding of Afghan legal system

Past experience developing and implementing relevant training courses preferred

Ability to travel to provinces

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Fluent in Dari/Pashto, and English

Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment

Duties & Responsibilities:


Supervise Team on planning, managing, coordinating and implementing the Case Management System within the justice institution of Afghanistan

Conduct CMS Monitoring Board meeting and other CMS related meetings

Monitoring and Evaluating of CMS DTLs, NLAs, and project operations in assigned areas

Review CMS lesson plans

Mentor on CMS training

Conduct managerial supervision to make sure the CMS project in Kabul is running properly

Meeting with MB members and based on need with other department officials to facilitate and coordinate project

Review reports of embeds

Preparing different reports on project implementation and CMS usage

Coordinate the project between JSSP and the departments

Develop action plans for better CMS implementation

·Motivate Kabul Team members to encourage GIROA officials to utilize CMS reports

Evaluate the DTL, SLA, NLA, and Backfill advisers

Compile, Edit and proofreading the Weekly Activity Report of Team

Participate in Weekly Section Lead meetings and report on activities, achievements, and challenges

Managing leave requests of team members

Assist in reclassification of staff based on qualifications

Assisting in hiring/filling vacancies

Participate in meetings

Work to solve problems of team member

Prepare the agenda and run the SI staff meeting

Perform other assignments as required from SI SL, DSL or other SI management members

Qualifications:


Minimum of 5 years of professional experience and a Masters, or 7 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree

Must have a bachelor’s degree in law, social science, international development, or related field, master’s degree preferred

Experience collaborating with Afghan government ministries and institutions
