About Afghanistan SUPPORT-II Project:
SUPPORT directly assists USAID/Afghanistan Program and Projects Development Office (PPDO) with information management services and provides the PPDO and USAID/Afghanistan with a number of key services, including information management and reporting products and performance monitoring plans and related activities. SUPPORT is seeking well qualified Afghan candidates for a newly established field monitoring unit which will provide periodic reviews of specific activities on behalf of USAID/Afghanistan.
The objective of SUPPORT II is to support and strengthen the USAID/Afghanistan Mission’s monitoring and evaluation and performance management systems. Additionally, it provides support services such as facilitating workshops, conferences, and meetings for USAID and its implementing partners. For this purpose, SUPPORT II hires highly qualified Afghan consultants, experts, and expertise in various areas as per the statement of work provided by USAID/Afghanistan Mission monitoring and evaluation criteria to support the concerning project activity.
USAID/Afghanistan plans to conduct third party independent monitoring and verification of various USAID funded projects throughout Afghanistan.
As per the statement of work for the assignment, SUPPORT II is hiring an Afghan field monitors based in Kabul, Kandahar, Jalalabad, Mazar & Herat to assist in the process of this monitoring. Travel to adjacent provinces & districts are required.

Travel to designated locations to verify activities and/or events, including conducting interviews and complete questionnaire for each activity and/or event.
Have Survey & M&E experience

Minimum qualifications and experience for the Monitor:
Should have a University degree (or significant related coursework).
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required
