Tetra Tech, Afghanistan Justice Sector Support Program (JSSP), is seeking applications for IT Supervisor position for Project Management Office (PMO) under the supervision of Deputy Chief of Team - Operations.

Experience diagnosing hardware and software problems, and maintain helpdesk support

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Duties & Responsibilities:


Coordinate the planning, installation, testing and maintenance of IT equipment, software and products, and the development and implementation of disaster/recovery procedures

Develop and implement policies and procedures related to information systems hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup

Communicate with other departments to report and troubleshoot/resolve software, hardware, and operations problems

Liaise with Tetra Tech Home Office IT support teams for project support needs and maintain knowledge of IT initiatives and best practices

Ensure compliance with Tetra Tech IT policies and procedures, including Acceptable Use Policy for technology resources

Determine appropriate reload and backup procedures for databases, and monitors and records impact of aborted jobs on database and data communication files

Identify and resolve problems associated with operating system malfunctions.

Manage and mentor IT support specialists and maintain knowledge on all job functions, business requirements, and evaluate IT systems for security and system integrity to ensure achievement of all project objectives

Qualifications:


Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience and a Master’s, or 7 years of relevant professional experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a computer science or related field

At least two years in a management role, and demonstrated experience providing and overseeing IT functions for large programs

Experience overseeing the planning, installation, testing and maintenance of all project equipment/products
