Skills Description:

Handling multiple matters simultaneously and independently
Possess Dari or Pashto communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking to support the requirements of the position to which assigned
Possess the ability to communicate in English via reading, writing, and speaking in order to facilitate communication.
Be able to work in an autonomous with little guidance, coordinate activities between company and other related organization.
The commercial lawyer will provide accurate legal advice on various issues affecting the company analyzing applicable law, legal principles, concepts, regulations, precedent, and practices.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Review law and regulation of MoF, MoMP,MoI and other related Government organizations.
Knowledge of, and skill in applying, fundamental legal analysis and skills in laws, principal, systems, policies, methods, and practices; as well as analytical, and research techniques sufficient to conduct fact finding and recommend solutions to legal issues affecting the company.
To use computers or other advanced technology to maintain documents, plans, and reports. Document management may include arranging files and confirming submission of legal reports and opinions to other departments, receipt of documents from other departments, and properly archiving and storing and retrieving archived documents.
To have the ability to understand, abide by, and advise on the policies, processes, and standard operating procedures of the National Procurement Authority.
Candidate will agree to any continuing legal and professional development as directed by supervisory chain of command.
Responsibility for distribution of work among associates
Responsibility for legal end products to clients, which are legally solid and commercially viable
Reporting to senior management on progress of matters and general performance of the legal on a regular basis
Preparing case theories and memorandums
Creating and maintain good rapport with the firm’s Government offices through effective and consistent communication and proper explanation of legal proceedings to clients
Representing company independently or alongside other all meetings, proceedings, and negotiations;
Appear on behalf of company at government offices including but not limited to the Central Business Registry, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Interior, the Afghanistan Revenue Department, commercial courts and other related government organizations.
Undertake legal research and analysis under the guidance of senior staff
Translate legal and other documentation from Dari to English and vice versa
Maintain effective, professional, and timely communication with clients, colleagues, and government officials
Keep abreast of changes and updates to Afghan laws, regulations, policies, and practices.
