PURPOSE:
The Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator will support the Monitoring and Evaluation Director in data collection, synthesis, and analysis. S/he will be responsible for monitoring the qualify and accuracy of the data collected from the regions.

3-4 years of experience monitoring internship data for results reporting on USAID projects

Fluent in Dari/and or Pashto with good speaking skills English

Duties & Responsibilities:

OBJECTIVE AND DUTIES:

Gathers and compiles regional data for use in analyses and results reporting according to AMEP.

Take a lead role in developing standardized forms and questionnaires

Take a lead role in conducting surveys belong to central region.

Supports the M&E Director in responding to ad-hoc requests form USAID

Gathers and compiles data for use in monitoring progress and for analyses and reporting

Works with Regional Director and M&E Director to collect and report regional data and results, including trends and impacts to project success

Develop monthly activity calendar of central region

Provides training to provincial- and district-level technical staff and grantees in basic M&E methodology and M&E procedure

Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:


Bachelor plus four years of experience monitoring programs in Afghanistan or 12th graduate plus 7 years of work experience.

Previous experience conducting surveys, and capturing and disseminating lessons learned preferred

3-4 years of experience monitoring internship data for results reporting on USAID projects

Fluent in Dari/and or Pashto with good speaking skills English

The position reports to the Monitoring and Evaluation Director
