Job Summary

To ensure transparent financial transactions in field offices and help to prepare the financial reports.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with finance departments and field offices to ensure rental, contractual and salary taxes are calculated accurately as per Afghanistan tax Law.
  • Prepare tax payment process the approval and timely transfer to medium tax payer office.
  • Maintaining all kinds of taxes register and updating staff, house owner and contractors TIN certificate. 
  • Work with projects Accountants to receive ACSS forms for tax transfer from relevant Banks.
  • Prepare the standard tax forms, process approval and submit it with other required documents to MTO branch.
  • Maintain proper filing system for all processed and outstanding tax forms. Ensure all voucher have a copy of signed tax forms.
  • Coordinate with supply Chain to ensure all suppliers are received a copy of tax form.
  • Maintain an excel database including all tax information and update it timely.
  • Prepare Annual Tax Return report for BRAC Afghanistan and ensure the clearance certificate obtained timely.
  • Serve as focal point and representative of BRAC Afghanistan in all Meeting and correspondence with Ministry o Finance and relevant departments.
  • Posting Wages, Rental and Contractors entries in Ministry of Finance E-Filing System on due time.
  • To make sure or prepare and update asset inventory list of all the bases and follow the physical inventory on semiannual bases
  • To prepare accounting report and financial statements of the Province on monthly bases
  • To prepare monthly report on performance of the base and submitted to Finance Manager.
  • Timely transfer all kind of voucher and other necessary document to country office on due time.
  • Maintaining all file system.
  • Any other official activates which are assign by country office team.
  • Collecting Monthly tax report form field offices and make consolidated tax report for approvals.
  • Participate in professional development activities, as needed or requested and perform duties, as necessary or as requested.
  • Assist with finance team in providing of document for Audit.
  • Maintain record of all tax information and update it timely and keep record soft and hard.
  • Follow up tax payments deadline and coordinate with MTO and LTO relevant Audits
  • Any other official activates which are assign by country office team.


Job Requirements

B.Com/M.Com, BBA/MBA Finance & Accounts


  • BBA with 2 Years’ Experience of tax
  • Proficiency in English, Pashto and Dari language both orally and written.
  • Having well knowledge an Accounting and Accounting Software
  • Ability to work under Pressure some times.
  • Strong management skill
