The incumbent of this position will be responsible for the over all financial management on the District level.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Checks accuracy and assures quality of cost allocation to projects/sub-projects (account coding) on all accounting documents and are inline with CARE policy and procedures.
Help in the Maintains a register of advances and
cash left over, and materials received.
Help in processing of other office expenses such as
Help all accountants in the preparing a consolidated expenditure and quantity variance analysis of each district.
In charge recording and monitoring of budget against performance by production of weekly and monthly financial reports for the Finance Manager.
Mentor, coach, and offer on job training to Accountants and cashiers on recording of labour and materials databases under their management.
Act as a link with Finance Manager and Main Office on tracking monthly expenditure reports (ER) are received and distributed to the Finance Manager, two Program Managers, Administration Manager, Logistics Coordinator, M and E Advisor, Deputy Chief of Party and Chief of Party..
Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Education: Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Experience: Three to five years experience in commerce.
Language: Written and spoken English, Dari and Pashto
SKILLS: Proficiency in computer (MS word, excel, Access)
GENERAL: Willingness to work under pressure
