The Finance Officer reports to Finance Manager at Head Offce in carrying out the financial/accounting responsibilities, oversees the financial functions. The Finance Officer ensures that financial management system is conducted according to companyâ€™s regulations, standard operating procedures and business practices.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist to prepare and develop annual and quarterly budget, regular financial reports, to monitor actual performance against budget;
Maintain thorough documentation of central office and field financial transactions, ensure that all paid invoices provided with supporting documentation;
Assist to manage cash flow, including funds transfers from HQ, local currency exchange, and petty cash, maintain Account Payables and Account Receivables as per companyâ€™s financial policies and procedures;
Record all financial transactions into Accounting System, and submit timely reports to supervisor and HQ on monthly basis;
Oversee procurement matters and payments for vendors, contractors and consultants, ensure that they are in accordance with the laws and regulations of country and companyâ€™s regulations;
Ensure that the internal financial procedures, systems, policies and controls are applied with laws and regulations of country, and with the aim to support internal and external customers;
Perform other duties while required.
At least 4 years experience in accounting and financials, knowledge of Project and financial procedures;
IT skills, experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, Accounting Software);
Good oral and written communications skills, interpersonal experience in high-pressure environments, able to establishes effective working relations in a multicultural team environment;
Fluency in both written and spoken English and local languages;
Knowledge of Government Financial Procedures.
